Nine News was the most-watched program with 1.35 million viewers, tipping out Seven News(1.23 million).
The Block Sky High also did brisk business with an audience of 1.18 million across the five capital cities, according to preliminary OzTAM data.
It was followed closely by A Current Affair (1.13 million), while US drama Arrow also performed well for Nine, at just below a million viewers.
ABC News was the public broadcaster's most-watched offering with 911,000 viewers, while local drama Offspring was the top show for Ten but was down on last week with 798,000 viewers.
Nine won the night on a main channel share basis with 22.5 per cent, and on a network basis (30.4per cent). Seven was second with 20.5 per cent on its main channel and 29.0 per cent across its multichannels.
ABC1 had 13.4 per cent and 19.0 per cent across the network, followed by Ten (12.5 per cent and 17.2 per cent) and SBS (3.6 per cent on the main channel and 4.3 per cent including digital channels).
