Dancing With The Stars held most of its debut audience from last week for an average 1.240 million metro viewers last night (and 1.933 million nationally), giving Seven a 27.4 per cent channel share ahead of Nine’s 19.0 per cent, Ten’s 12.0 per cent and ABC1’s 11.7 per cent.
Dancing With The Stars’ over-run also pushed Body of Proof’s figure up to 976,000, although this will be downgraded when the figures are adjusted for actual start times.
Nine’s best program after 7pm was Big Brother again, with 870,000 viewers. The series is stalling slightly although it ranked number one in the key demographic of 25-to-54 year-olds last night, ahead of Nine News and DWTS. Seven won the 25-54 demo overall with a 23.0 per cent channel share against Nine’s 22.9 per cent.
Nine News won at 6pm with a metropolitan audience of 1.214 million ahead of Seven News’ 1.093 million while A Current Affair won at 6.30pm with 1.027 million against Today Tonight’s 905,000.
However Nine’s British comedy duo of Big School (581,000) and repeats of Come Fly With Me (479,000) are slowing.
Meantime Ten’s top two programs - The Project (573,000) and Ten Eyewitness News (535,000) - aired before 7.30pm although one of its big reality bets, Recipe To Riches has stemmed its losses and stabilised with 524,000 metro viewers last night. Neighbours drew an audience of 327,000 on Eleven.
