The reality contest added 255,000 viewers compared with last week, an increase of 30 per cent, to average 1.089 million viewers.
It helped Seven to a nightly metro win in all people with a 24.5 per cent channel share ahead of Nine's 18.5 per cent, ABC1's 12.6 and Ten's 10.6 per cent.
Nine News was next best, winning the 6pm slot with 1.076 million viewers nationally ahead of Seven News' 1.005 million. Nine won by 99,000 in Sydney and 112,000 in Melbourne.
ABC News at 7pm rose to fourth for the night among all programs with 897,000 viewers.
Nine's different programming across cities meant its best primetime show was a repeat of The Big Bang Theory with 597,000.
Seven's double Home and Away episode had 894,000 metro viewers and How I Met Your Mother's ratings are growing as it heads towards its finale; it added 120,000 on last week for 749,000.
ABC1 drama Redfern Now lost 75,000 viewers from its second-season premiere last week for 529,000.
Seven won the 25-to-54 demo with a 27.0 per cent channel share against Nine's 20.6 per cent and Ten's 10.9 per cent.
In breakfast, Ten's Wake Up slumped to 29,000 average viewers, including a mere 5,000 average in its home city, Sydney. Sunrise won the morning with an average 345,000 metro viewers ahead of Today's 327,000. Studio 10 lifted to 41,000 viewers.
