Second key executive quits Andrew Forrest’s empire a day after FMG boss Fiona Hick resigns
Harvest Road boss Paul Slaughter is the second CEO in two days to leave Andrew Forrest’s business empire, after Fortescue Metals chief Fiona Hick announced her departure on Monday.
Another high-ranking executive has quit Andrew Forrest’s business empire.
Harvest Road boss Paul Slaughter has resigned from the agricultural investments arm of the Tattarang business group.
His departure is the second key executive in two days to leave the business, after Fortescue Metals chief Fiona Hick announced her departure on Monday after less than six months in the role.
Mr Slaughter resigned several weeks ago after three years in the job and his departure was announced on Tuesday.
Before joining Dr Forrest's stable of companies he ran Mrs Mac’s Pies for close to six years.
Harvest Road is apart of the Forrest family business which includes Harvey Beef, WA’s biggest beef processor.
In a statement Tattarang chief executive John Hartman thanked Mr Slaughter for his service and for overseeing the growth of an “integrated beef supply chain” and the company’s aquaculture investments.
Mr Hartman said Mr Slaughter should be recognised for his “contribution in animal welfare and environmental sustainability.”
“That vision remains our focus … we wish Paul all the very best for the future,” Mr Hartman said.
