A popular skincare product has been recalled from Priceline shelves across the country over allergy concerns.

Product Safety Australia (PSA) has recalled the Clear Skincare Exfoliating Gel Cleanser 150ml due to an incorrect ingredients list, which means the product doesn’t comply with mandatory standards for cosmetic ingredients labelling.

“There is a risk of allergic reaction if consumers are exposed to ingredients they are sensitive or allergic to,” the PSA alert reads.

“Consumers will not be able to check the ingredients list to identify the possible cause and seek appropriate treatment.”

The product has been sold at Priceline, Priceline, and Clear Skincare Clinics nationally.

Consumers have been urged to stop using the product and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

However, proof of purchase will be required.
