Gladys LaiHead of brand, Vogue

Gladys is the head of brand for Vogue, and was formerly Vogue and GQ’s digital fashion features writer, and GQ’s head of brand. After studying History, Art History and Law at university, she worked in museums, galleries and auction houses before transitioning to fashion journalism, a field in which she’s worked since 2019. Examining style through the lens of politics, culture, and aesthetic theory is her driving interest, but in and amongst her show reviews, trend reports and features, you’ll find deep dives into Formula One. She has a weakness for vintage Prada and Comme Des Garçons. Her work, both print and digital, has appeared in Vogue Australia, GQ Australia, Vogue Living, US Vogue, British Vogue, GQ France and Vogue Scandinavia, among others.
