The Kansas City Chiefs’ star Travis Kelce has touched down in Sydney to meet his girlfriend, the pop superstar Taylor Swift.
The Super Bowl champion boarded a fight in Hawaii on Tuesday (GMT Time) to make the transpacific trek to Sydney for the last four dates of Swift’s blockbuster The Eras Australian tour.
Kelce arrived in The Emerald City just after 9 am on Thursday morning.
A privately chartered jet, the same model as one owned by Taylor Swift—a Bombardier Global 6000—was observed on flight tracking platforms, making its way from Honolulu to Australia on Thursday morning.
The NFL player hinted at visiting Australia last week in his podcast New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason Kelce. He stated that he would “venture to an island real soon.”
From Friday to Monday, the pop star will play four sold-out shows at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park to upwards of 320,000 Swifties.
After touching down in Sydney on Monday, February 19, the Karma singer was spotted at the buzzy Italian restaurant Pellegrino 2000 in Surry Hills on Tuesday evening, before heading to Sydney Zoo on Wednesday.
Swift landed in Melbourne for the first leg of her Australian tour last Thursday, February 15, after watching Kelce and The Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime, 25-22, to win their third Super Bowl title in five seasons.
Kelce and Swift’s relationship has dominated the NFL conversation this year — sparking a conspiracy theory meltdown in the MAGA contingent — with the pop star attending 13 of her boyfriends game this NFL season. Including making an overnight sprint back from Tokyo to Vegas to make it to the Super Bowl.
