Australian guitar legend Phil Emmanuel has died suddenly, struck down by an asthma attack while visiting his brother in Parkes, NSW.
The 65-year-old had several shows booked for the weekend.
“We are all devastated,” Darcy Emmanuel, Phil’s brother, told the Parkes Champion-Post.
“This comes on top of the loss of our sister Virginia Grace.
“Philip and Virginia were virtually joined at the hip and I don’t think either one would have been able to live without the other.”
