Noel Gallagher says it’s “amazing” he’s never performed at Australia’s premier blues and roots music festival Bluesfest before, “being one of the foremost blues artists working in show business today”.
The former Oasis musician sat down with The Australian at the festival in Byron Bay, where he headlined the MOJO stage on Sunday night with his band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
The Easter weekend event, previously known as the East Coast International Blues & Roots Music Festival, was established in 1990.
