A man died and another was arrested in Brighton on Friday night.
Homicide detectives are investigating after police were called to a home on Foote Street and a man was found with injuries about 8.30pm, Victoria Police said in a statement published early on Saturday morning.
“Emergency services performed CPR, but the yet-to-be-formally identified man died at the scene,” police said.
“A 52-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.”
“The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.”
