Indicative draft order
Magpies confirm Fraser appointment
As Peter Ryan reported earlier, Collingwood has confirmed that Josh Fraser has made his way back to where it all began.
The former Magpies ruckman will head up the club’s academy after stints coaching the Gold Coast reserves, Carlton VFL team and the Northern Bullants.
He will be in charge of Collingwood’s one-to-three-year players.
“It’s a thrill to be back,” Fraser said.
“Obviously, a part of me has always remained with Collingwood. So, returning is exciting. But the professional challenge is what I’m most excited about.
“To help build and mould a new squad under the guidance of Craig McRae and the team is a wonderful opportunity.”

Bulldogs’ midfield squeeze made it ‘tough’ to stay: Lipinski
By Jon Pierik
Collingwood recruit Patrick Lipinski says the midfield squeeze at the Western Bulldogs meant he had to look for other options and now hopes to provide versatility on the ball and up forward for the Magpies.
Lipinski, 23, has shifted to the Holden Centre in exchange for pick No.43 (he was pick No.28 in the 2016 national draft), coming after he rejected a three-year contract offer from the Bulldogs. He managed 11 matches this season, including only two - one as a medical sub - after the mid-season bye, taking his career tally to 56.
