There are still 130 fires burning around New South Wales as of 10pm, and hundreds more around the country.

Firefighting conditions are expected to be slightly better for crews on Thursday and Friday, before worsening on the weekend.
- Three more lives were lost today, bringing the death toll of the south coast fires to seven
- Almost 200 properties in the area have been confirmed as lost
- Over 1000 around the state have been lost this fire season
- There are no total fire bans tomorrow, nor severe fire warnings in any of the state's fire areas
- The RFS is discouraging anyone who doesn't need to be in the south coast or NSW/Victoria border regions to either leave, or stay away
