Heads Hotel

13/20

$$

Go on a sunny day and eating outside with the water view and a hound at your feet is a no-brainer. If it rains it'll be the anonymous club dining room, which is redeemed by a wood-burning heater. Hail or shine the flathead tails and chips are the go, spot-on with moist fish and everything else crisp as it should be. Salmon with hollandaise was OK, but the sweet potato chips are genius. Saturday mornings see the place turn into a mini produce market, some local, with designer pet accessories.
