CENTRAL Australian police have arrested two people overnight following separate pursuits on local roads.
Southern Watch Commander Alistair Gall said police engaged in a pursuit through Alice Springs after a vehicle was allegedly stolen from a home in Araluen.
He said the car was stopped using tyre deflating devices and police arrested a 16-year-old youth but were still looking for three others who were in the vehicle.
In a separate pursuit a 50-year-old woman was arrested in Tennant Creek after police used a drone to track her movements.
Initially police engaged in a pursuit before terminating it for safety purposes.
