THE court case of an alleged bikie associate and meth supplier has taken yet another turn after the prosecution revealed two of his alleged customers had been arrested and that they suspect the man had also been dealing drugs to his boss.
Barry Hunt, who police allege is an associate of the Hells Angels bikie gang, was originally arrested last week as a part of a nationwide crackdown on the gang’s activities and charged with a raft of drug and weapons charges.

Alleged Hells Angels associates arrested after police raid: Multiple charges laid
He was released on bail in the Darwin Local Court due to a lack of strong evidence tying him to meth supply last week but was arrested again on Wednesday after allegedly driving with drugs in his system.
His bail is currently under review in the Supreme Court, where he appeared on Friday morning.
During the hearing, prosecutor Naomi Loudon said police had arrested two men on Thursday – Daniel Brown and Garth Zanki – who said they had purchased meth from Hunt.
“Zanki had been buying ‘eight balls’ (3.5g of meth) off Hunt for about a year,” Ms Loudon said.
“Daniel Brown, who was arrested (on Thursday), also bought seven or eight ‘eight balls’ off Mr Hunt.”
She also said the Crown will allege Hunt had contact with a meth supplier in Victoria.
“There is a strong crown case and there is likely to be further charges laid.”
Ms Loudon also said police had phone intercepts between Hunt and his boss at the earthmoving contractor he works for that suggest Hunt was also selling drugs to his boss.
“We will be alleging he is supplying [his boss] with methamphetamine and cannabis,” Ms Loudon said.
