Officers executed a search warrant at the Katherine property on Friday, where they located a sawn-off 410 shotgun with the serial numbers removed, a crocodile skull and skin, fireworks, 130g cannabis and $9610 in cash.

Two men have been charged with a series of offences.

A 57-year-old man has been charged with:

• possessing of a trafficable quantity of a schedule 2 dangerous drug;
• supplying a schedule 2 dangerous drug;
• possessing property from the commission of an offence;
• possessing drug paraphernalia;
• possessing a firearm while unlicensed;
• failing to meet firearm storage requirements;
• possessing a prohibited firearm;
• possessing a firearm with altered ID marks;
• possessing a protected animal; and
• possessing fireworks.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with:

• possessing of a trafficable quantity of a schedule 2 dangerous drug;
• supplying a schedule 2 dangerous drug;
• possessing property from the commission of an offence;
• possessing drug paraphernalia; and
• possessing a protected animal.

Both men are due to appear in Katherine Local Court today.
