‘Shaken’: Stuart Park Corner Store staff terrorised by youths

THE staff of a Darwin supermarket have been left shaken after being allegedly “verbally abused and threatened” by a group of youths.
Stuart Park Corner Store owner Rubin Poulose said CCTV captured the moment his staff were targeted by a group of three youths on Thursday.
“Sanitiser was thrown on the ground and Chupa Chups taken out and smashed,” he said.
“When the kids were told to leave the store. One of them came back and started stomping at the door and was verbally abusive to staff.
“They threatened staff they will come again and rob the store.
“One of them was wearing ankle bracelet.”
He said the youths were also captured on CCTV later on Sunday allegedly attempting to break in to the Westralia St business
“The staff are definitely shaken a bit,” he said. “Especially after the second attempt.”
