A TAKEAWAY owner says she’s heartbroken after young thieves raided her family business for the third time this month, leaving behind a hefty $20,000 repair bill.
Maningrida police are investigating after thieves broke in through the roof of the 168 General Store and Takeaway on Monday night.
Owner Aihua Feng said she was “heartbroken” find her store ransacked for the third time in a month.

“It is so stressful and frustrating to have big holes on the roof and ceiling falling off during the heavy rainy season,” she said.
“The roof had so many patch holes on top of it. We may have to close the shop for a while for roof repair.”
Ms Feng said his business wasn’t the only one in town being repeatedly targeted by thieves.
“Many business owners are struggling with the teenage crime rate increasing,” she said.

“The cost of being a crime is too low which makes more and more young generation dare to challenge the law.”
