A PROMINENT Territory sportsman has made his second court appearance with a new lawyer.
The 25-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, stands charged with 19 violent offences including rape.
His lawyer, Jon Tippett QC, appeared in court for his client yesterday and successfully applied for the matter to be adjourned for a bail application.

The man has been remanded in custody to return to court on February 10.
