POLICE are urging motorists to drive to the conditions after attending three multiple-car crashes simultaneously in the Top End on Tuesday afternoon.
At 4.30pm police attended a four-vehicle crash adjacent to JB HiFi after one driver rear ended the vehicle in front which caused a domino effect.
At 4.37pm on McMillans Rd at Knuckeys Lagoon five vehicles were involved in a crash due to the offending vehicle failing to stop.
Shortly after at 5pm police attended another two vehicle crash on Kirkland Rd, Tivendale.

“There were no injuries and all three crashes occurring around the same period of time as people travelled home from work,” Northern watch commander Sonia Kennon said.
“The rain may have had some causal effect, so drivers are reminded to drive to the conditions of the road and be patient.”
