A WOMAN caught driving in Tennant Creek with a blood-alcohol level almost three times the legal limit has been arrested and is expected to be charged with a number of traffic offences.
The 39-year-old woman was driving a black Holden sedan on Peko Road about 10.40pm yesterday when she was pulled over for a random breath test.
She recorded a positive test and was arrested.

The woman was taken to the Tennant Creek police station and underwent a breath analysis, in which she registered a reading of .216Brac.
Police will also allege the woman has never held a drivers licence and her vehicle’s registration expired in June.

She is in custody and is expected to be charged with high-range drink driving, driving unlicensed and driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.
