A 34-YEAR-OLD man who thought he would skip out on his quarantine and head straight to work has been sent back into quarantine and slapped with a fine.
He is one of four people to be handed fines for flouting quarantine requirements in recent days.
The man arrived in the Territory on Tuesday and travelled to his place of employment in Adelaide River.
Police realised the man had no exemption and he was issued with a fine.

A 48-year-old woman in Moulden was dobbed in by a public servant, a 62-year-old man in Darwin City, caught out by cops and an 18-year-old woman in Alice Springs caught by health compliance officers were found to have left their accommodation instead of quarantining.
They were all unable to provide a lawful justification as to why they were not quarantining and each was issued a fine.
The infringement for failing to abide by the law is $1106 for an individual and $5530 for a business.
