A MAN has been killed in a crash overnight after a 4WD rolled and smashed into a group of trees in East Arnhem Land.
NT Police say a 4WD was involved in a rollover on Bodiya Rd, Milingimbi. and then crashed into a number of trees about 10pm last night,
Staff from the local clinic attended and pronounced the 51-year-old male driver deceased. at the scene.
NT Police’s Major Crash unit has flown to the island and will prepare a report for the coroner.
There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time.

The cause of the crash is yet to be established.
