A man who allegedly stole valuable plants from a nursery has been charged.

A man has been charged for allegedly stealing valuable plants from a nursery earlier this week.
The 44-year-old man was issued a notice to appear, for one count of stealing and one count of trespass.
The plants were reported stolen in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The selection of stolen plants, including bonsai trees, were found on a Humpty Doo property by Northern Territory police on Wednesday August 25.
Senior Sergeant Siiri Tennosaar said the offence of stealing in the Northern Territory carries a maximum penalty of seven years imprisonment.
“People who commit offences of this nature can expect to be charged and put before the court,” Mr Tennosaar said.
