A DOZEN adults were charged due to “fighting in the community” over a three-day period in Borroloola according to NT Police.
NT Police revealed Borroloola police had charged 12 adults with assault and other offences “in relation to fighting in the community” between Sunday January 16 and Tuesday January 19.

NT Police said it was working with the Borroloola community “to address ongoing disturbances”.
“I would like to thank the officers in Borroloola who have been working together with community leaders,” superintendent Kirk Pennuto said.
“The community members have expressed their appreciation towards the police for the proactive approach to this issue.”
