Woman fined after driving with four unrestrained kids
A YOUNG woman who has never held a licence was caught driving with four unrestrained children — aged 3, 4, 12 and 14.

A YOUNG woman who has never held a licence has been sentenced for a string of driving offences.
Carli-anne Wayne, 21, fronted Alice Springs Local Court after pleading guilty to driving while unlicensed, and four varying counts of passengers not fastened/ restrained or wearing a seat belt.

The court heard four children – aged three, four, 12 and 14, were unrestrained when Wayne was pulled over by police.
When asked why, she replied: “They are the passengers, they should put it on”.
