Darwin woman rushed to hospital after attack
A 28-YEAR-OLD woman has been hospitalised after allegedly being seriously assaulted by a group of men near a popular Darwin beach.

A 28-YEAR-OLD woman has been hospitalised after allegedly being seriously assaulted by a group of men near a popular Darwin beach.
NT Police is calling for witnesses in relation to an incident where a woman was allegedly assaulted by a group of men near Casuarina Beach at about 7pm on Friday.
The woman managed to escape after the assault and was found by a passer-by on a nearby road.
Police said the men fled from the scene in two vehicles.
One of the vehicles is believed to be a white, medium-sized rigid truck.
The woman was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital and is receiving treatment for her injuries.
Detective Sergeant Gavin Hopwood said police were aware there were a number of people in the area at the time of the assault.
“We request that anyone who was in the area between 6pm and 9pm contact police as they may have information that will assist with this investigation,” Sgt Hopwood said.
