A TERRITORY couple has been arrested by police after allegedly robbing an adult store in Palmerston on the weekend.
A 44-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were arrested on Monday in relation to the robbery at Sexyland Palmerston on Saturday.
Police said the couple entered the store and they allegedly attempted to leave without paying for their items.
The store attendant confronted the couple and one of them allegedly rushed the attendant, pushing her out the front door of the shop and then proceeded to assault the attendant while the other collected items and fled the area.
Serious Crime Detectives attended a premises in Virginia, 32km south east of Darwin, and arrested the pair on Monday morning.
The male was charged with aggravated robbery and possessing a schedule 1 drug.
The female was charged with aggravated robbery and possessing a schedule 8 substance.

Both were remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
