Daniel Keelan leaves the Supreme Court after pleading guilty to dealing cocaine

A FORMER Territory cop busted dealing cocaine to a colleague after stealing his service weapon to keep at home will likely plead guilty to a string of other offences, a court has heard.

One time constable and rugby league coach Daniel Keelan pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court last week to supplying cocaine to fellow officer Brittany-Rose Kettle and stealing his police issue Glock.

Keelan is due to be sentenced for those offences later this month but also faces a string of “backup” charges in the Local Court including for lower level drug and firearms offences.

On Tuesday, his lawyer Shane McMaster, told the court Keelan would likely plead guilty to those offences as well and asked for the case to be adjourned until after his Supreme Court sentencing.
