Police have arrested all four of the suspects of a wild Monday night crime spree in Palmerston, in which a group of men allegedly stole two cars and broke into a handful of local businesses.
The males, aged 22, 13 and two 18-year-olds, were taken into custody by police on Tuesday morning after allegedly breaking into several shops across Palmerston and the rural area.
Around midnight, thieves broke into Top End Diesel in Yarrawonga and stole a white Toyota LandCruiser and a black Mazda 3 sedan, before embarking on their crime spree, according to Watch Commander Len Turner said.
“Police received several reports of the two stolen motor vehicles driving around Palmerston, dangerously and erratically,” he said.
The group then ramraided Top End Tackle World at 12.40am, where they stole cash, knives and bows and arrows.

Owner Shane Compain said it was disappointing to see such brazen behaviour captured so clearly on his cameras.
“I think it’s out of control at the moment. There were three ram-raids recently … Darwin’s a small place and it seems to be happening a lot,” Mr Compain said.
The two cars then left the area and turned their attention to getting booze.
Watch Commander Len Turner said the men had allegedly ramraided the BWS next to the Palmerston Tavern.
“The Mazda sedan was used to ram-raid the roller doors, causing extensive damage, and the vehicle became stuck between the bollards and the door,” he said.
The incapacitated vehicle did little to slow the group’s spree, however.
The offenders then piled into the LandCruiser, fleeing again before they were spotted by police.
Tyre spikes were used to bring the car to a stop after a police pursuit.
