A PALMERSTON mother accused of causing a crash that killed her young son while on drugs and over the legal alcohol limit has again faced court on a string of charges.
The case against Moulden woman Andrea Groening, 25, was mentioned in Darwin Local Court today, where she is charged with driving causing death, medium-range drink-driving and drug-driving.

Groening is accused of causing the horror crash on the corner of Tiger Brennan Dr and Berrimah Rd in May last year that killed her son, Mehali Anastasios Pastrikos, 7, and Wade Williams, 21.
The 42-year-old driver of another car was seriously injured.
Today NT Legal Aid lawyer Mark Jehne applied for a three-week adjournment after revealing a crash report from the day contained CCTV footage of the fatal crash.

At his funeral in July, Mehali was remembered as a “beautiful cheeky boy” who was his dad’s best friend.
Groening returns to court on May 27.
