A GROUP of kids have been arrested for allegedly stealing an NT Government car.
According to NT Police, two NT Government cars were reported driving suspiciously around midnight with police confirming one had been stolen.
One car was later stopped following a police chase and the use of a tyre deflation device, with four youths being taken into custody.
The second car was later found by police abandoned on the South Stuart Highway.
