A TEENAGER has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault on Friday over the group beating of another teen in Alice Springs last week.
It’s believed five offenders physically assaulted an 18-year-old man walking down Gap Road in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

In a statement, NT Police said they had arrested and charged an 18-year-old who is alleged to have been one of the attackers.
He was charged with aggravated robbery, obtain benefit by deception and possession of a dangerous drug.

The man was also charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle and obtain benefit by deception over a separate incident in mid-March which involved a stolen motor vehicle and credit cards.
No court date was provided by NT Police.
