A man has been killed in a vehicle rollover in the MacDonnell Region, bringing the number of people killed on NT roads to 47 - 12 more than last year.

Territory roads have claimed another life after a driver in his 30s was reported dead following a single vehicle rollover crash in the MacDonnell region.
Police received reports of a single vehicle rollover crash on Namatjira Dr at 7.45am on Friday.
The crash occurred 40km west of Glenn Helen Gorge and 170km west of Alice Springs.
The sole occupant of the vehicle was the 36-year-old male driver.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Senior Constable Debra Pieniacki said investigations into the crash were ongoing.
“Investigators from the Southern Coronial Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances around the crash,” Constable Pieniacki said.
“Anyone who was driving along Namatjira Drive west of Glenn Helen Gorge around that time is urged to contact police on 131 444. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.”
There have benn 47 deaths on Territory roads since the start of the year - 12 more than last year’s total of 35.
This time last year there had been 29 lives lost on NT roads.
