NT Police have declared the disappearance of a man who went missing in May “suspicious”.

Tony Rowe, 36, left the Hibiscus Tavern on May 28, heading to Moulden.

He was last seen leaving Moulden at 9.30pm.

Mr Rowe is a caucasian man, 179cm tall, with short light brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.

He has a tattoo of a viking on his right arm and was last seen wearing a yellow fishing shirt, shorts and thongs.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Justene Dwyer said police were still investigating his disappearance and were now treating it as suspicious.

“We now have serious concerns for the welfare of Tony and his disappearance is being treated as suspicious,” Ms Dwyer said.

“We make the appeal now as there’s been no phone or bank activity since Tony was last seen on May 28.

“It doesn’t look good, however we’re factoring in all possibilities of his whereabouts.

“We are appealing for anyone who saw Tony on the night of May 28 at any location between Leanyer and Moulden to contact Crimestoppers at 131 444.”

Mr Rowe was last seen with a woman, who has been ruled out of the investigation and is cooperating with police.

“That female has been located and she’s cooperated with police and provided a statement,” Ms Dwyer said.

“We have no specific suspects at the moment, just cooperative witnesses.”
