Celebrity crocodile wrangler Matt Wright has had a series of backup charges adjourned until November pending the resolution of his upcoming Supreme Court trial.

Mr Wright was committed to stand trial in December last year on a single charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice following a helicopter crash that killed his Netflix co-star Chris “Willow” Wilson.

On Tuesday, the remaining six charges arising out of the fatal crash, including destruction of evidence, fabricating evidence and unlawful entry, were mentioned in Darwin Local Court.

Mr Wright’s barrister Giles O’Brien-Hartcher successfully applied for those “backup charges” to be adjourned until November 5.

Mr Wright will return to the Supreme Court for a call over on August 1.
