TICKETS are now on sale for the upcoming AFL match between the Gold Coast Suns and Melbourne Demons at TIO Stadium on July 24.
The Suns were originally scheduled to bring a game to Darwin for the Sir Doug Nicholls Round in May, although the game was relocated due to a Covid-19 outbreak in Victoria.

Melbourne were also due to play in Alice Springs but that game was also moved due to the pandemic, though a later game in the Red Centre is not off the cards.
But now both sides are back in the Top End ready to put on a show for Territory footy fans.
Head of AFLNT Stuart Totham said it is fantastic for Territorians to have an AFL match back in the region and encouraged fans to act quickly to secure their tickets for the game.
“The NT Government, Gold Coast SUNS and AFLNT have been working hard to ensure AFL football gets played in Darwin in 2021,” Totham said.
“It’s a huge treat to have a blockbuster AFL game played in our backyard and we’re sure the community will get behind the fixture.
“We were expecting a sell-out crowd in Round 11 and are hopeful it will be a full stadium next Saturday night, so make sure you secure your ticket.”
