THE NT Rugby Union is on the hunt for a new CEO to take over from the outgoing Tamie Needham but there is no firm timeline for when the replacement will start.
The new boss of NT Rugby will be on a $100,000 salary package, however Needham will remain in the position until the new replacement begins.
The position has been advertised and applications close on September 7.
The role requires the CEO to work with Rugby Australia and manage the business side of the code.

The job requires someone with leadership and people skills, communication expertise and the ability to represent the game at the highest levels of government and within the corporate sector.
However, the job ad says knowledge and experience within a rugby environment is desirable but not essential.
Anyone interested in the role is to apply via email at info@ntrugby.com.au by September 7.
Needham, who was also the first female CEO of the NT code, will remain in the role until a replacement is found.
“Being involved in NT rugby in this role has been a fantastic opportunity for me and has been challenging, exciting and rewarding in equal parts,” Needham said.
“Right now the security of a permanent job is most important to me so I’m returning to my government job though rugby union in the NT is in an exciting period of change right now.”

NTRU president Denys Stedman praised Needham’s role in revitalising the Top End sport and suggested her replacement would have massive shoes to fill.
“She’s been fantastic in the role and has really helped get the NTRU back on its feet,” Stedman said.
“She was incredibly hard working while being knowledgeable about the game and the people in the game up here, it’s those qualities we will be looking for in her replacement.”
