A young tennis fan just about stole the show on a wet opening day of the Australian Open in Melbourne.
On a day when some terrible Melbourne weather caused havoc with the first slate of matches, a little girl took it upon herself to entertain the crowd at Rod Laver Arena.

During a break after the fourth set of No. 6 seed Casper Ruud’s marathon 6-3, 1-6, 7-5, 2-6, 6-1 victory over Spaniard Jaume Munar, DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince hit Boom! Shake the Room was played over the stadium speakers.
That’s when the youngster got out of her seat and began busting out the moves.
“This kid’s getting a massive applause courtside here,” a Stan Sport commentator said.
“And that is what the AO is all about. It’s about the sport, it is about the champions, it is about the tennis.
“But it is also about the appeal of the event.”

One of her more popular moves was her own version of Michael Jackson’s famous “moonwalk” dance and the cheering from the crowd only built as the audience became aware of her moves on the big screen.
Two-time Davis Cup champion Mark Philippoussis was also in the commentary booth and he was loving the action.
“That’s awesome,” he said. “That’s the moonwalk! She’s doing the moonwalk, I love it.”
After she returned to her seat, a man that appeared to be her father encouraged the little girl to get back on her feet and that’s when she capped it all off by reproducing Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous “siuuu” celebration after he scores a goal.
Those that saw the clip on social media were also impressed.
“Sheeesh she got moves,” was one comment.
“I saw that live. Kids got some moves!” wrote another.
“She stole the game from Ruud,” offered a third.
The dancing theme continued in the night session at Melbourne Park, with commentator and former world No. 4 Jelena Dokic enticing two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka to lead the crowd in a TikTok dance after her first-round win over Sloane Stephens.
Dokic has a reputation for bringing something different to on-court interviews and the Aussie took it to a new level with Sabalenka.
The Belarusian has a penchant for dancing videos on TikTok and Dokic asked Sabalenka – and the entire Rod Laver Arena crowd – to dance as one after her victory.
“Now they have the proof that I’m the worst dancer,” Sabalenka said afterwards.
Dokic fired back: “No, I’m the worst dancer. Thank you for doing that. I think we’re going to go viral but I hope for all the right things.
“You just did your cool down, but I have to go to the physio.
“You’re a champion on and off the court, you’re a good sport, thank you for doing this.”
