SOUTHERN Districts breathed a sigh of relief when star forward Tayla Thorn was found not guilty of rough conduct in her side’s 70-all draw against Nightcliff in Round 8 of the WPL.
Thorn was originally charged with rough conduct with the incident classfied as careless conduct with high impact and high contact, resulting in a three-match penalty.

Instead of opting for the early guilty plea, the former Gold Coast Suns AFLW player decided to contest the charge taking the matter to the tribunal.
In front of the tribinal, Thorn pleased not guilty to the charge with the tribunal finding her not guilty.
