SOUTHERN Districts standout midfielder tops the stats for the second week in a row in Round 5 of the 2020-21 NTFL season being the first player to exceed 40 disposals.

In just his second game with Crocs Tsitas – who two weeks ago won the SANFL final with Woodville - made a remarkable 41 disposals (22 kicks, 19 handballs) to give his side the best chance in their loss to Wanderers.

The former Nightcliff Tiger also took nine marks while making six clearances in a complete game.

And while Tsitas was the first player to break 40 many others found their way over 30 disposals for the first time in the season.

Strong start sees Waratah win over Tiwi Bombers in Round 5

Tiwi Bombers’ Fletcher Carroll had another busy game for his side managing 36 disposals, including 20 kicks and 16 handballs while also taking 11 marks.

Though an inspired 35 disposals, 19 kicks and 16 handballs, from Waratah’s Abe Ankers lifted his side to a decisive 16.16 (112) to 12.5 (77) victory over the Bombers, with Ankers also making nine marks.

Lucas Jellyman-Turner muscled his way to 32 disposals (17 kicks, 15 handballs) in St Mary’s convincing win over Palmerston.

While another man from Tahs in the form of William Collis completed the top five with 31 dispoals including 24 kicks and seven handballs.

Croc Nikolaus Rokahr also managed 30 disposals in a big individual effort that also included nine marks.

Nightcliff’s Dom Brew was another stats standout making a round high number of tackles with 12 while also securing nine clearances.

Other interesting stats were apparent in the blockbuster match-up between Darwin Buffaloes and Nightcliff, a game lower on individual disposals but not in excitement.

The Tigers’ were efficient and accurate from the start kicking four goals to one in the opening quarter despite entering the inside 50 two times less than their rivals.

Nightcliff’s accuracy was the ultimate game changer with the side kicking nine goals straight only booting their first one-pointer in the second quarter.

Buff’s accuracy woes showed in their third quarter dominance where they entered the inside 50 18 times to only come away with two goals from nine scores.
