PINTS will be looking to maintain consistency across the court when they take on Hoggies in round 13 of the Darwin Netball Premier League.
The reigning premiers produced a strong four-quarter effort in their 52-31 win over Banks Bulldogs last round and that’s a showing the side will be looking to replicate.
The win had strong performances across the court and lifted Pints into a clear fourth. Coach Kathy Kellam praised her side’s win, calling it a sign that her squad was peaking at the right stage of the season.

Waratahs keep their cool to see of Pints in thrilling round 11 Darwin Netball Premier League match
“We played pretty good, it was a consistent effort through four quarters,” Kellam said.
“It was probably our best, most consistent effort of the season which is a good sign as we start to prime for the pointy end of the season.
“Our defence has been solid each season. But what was impressive in that match was our consistency across the rest of the court.”
The duo of Elizabeth Paice and Barbara Ilett have been particular standouts for Pints all season alongside Aaliyah Bailey.
Though Hoggies won’t make life easy as they continue their hunt for a win with Olivia and Sophie Hatzismalis the usual threats.
“They’ve got a tall goal defence so it will be about keeping her out of the goal circle to combat their height advantage,” Kellam said.
“They also have a reasonably good mid court so we will need to keep it tight defensibly and not let them get an advantage in that area.
“It’s just all about continued pressure in defence. If we can maintain that we will have plenty of opportunities.”
Meanwhile, top side Tracy Village Falcons will look to bounce back from their round 12 defeat to Waratahs.
But they will have their work cut out for them with their opponents Nightcliff Tigers hitting a strong run of recent form.
Waratahs will also be looking to maintain a winning run when they take on Banks Bulldogs, a side that will be looking for a strong result.
