GEELONG premiership player Harry Taylor will star in this week’s round 5 of NTFL action and we will be there to livestream all the action for you LIVE and EXCLUSIVE.

The NT News and AFL Northern Territory have come together in a partnership to bring you all the action for this TIO NTFL season.

First up on Saturday Tiwi Bombers will host their first ever Darwin based home game at Gardens Oval against the in-form Waratah from 2pm.

Then from 4pm Southern Districts will host Wanderers at Norbuilt Oval with the home side set to unveil their marquee signing in Geelong premiership player Harry Taylor.

Wanderers had the better of the encounter in Round 1 but with their new piece of firepower and a win over Tiwi behind them Districts will come in with plenty of confidence

Over at TIO Stadium from 7pm the Darwin Buffaloes will be looking to turn their fortunes around but have a tough ask ahead of them against reigning premiers Nightcliff Tigers.

Live from Sunday 4pm: St Mary’s vs Palmerston Magpies

On Sunday from 4pm St Mary’s will host their first home game for almost four decades at TIO Stadium 2 facing Palmerston Magpies with both sides looking to bounce back from round 4 losses.

Joning in the commentary team for the Sunday game is the brand new NT based SEN team featuring the well-known voices of Shannon Bryne and Dominic McCormack.

The network will broadcast NTFL games live to Melbourne and Adelaide with their commentary also a part of the livestreaming on ntnews.com.au.

AFLNT chairman Sean Bowden said it was a terrific opportunity to sell Territory football interstate.

“It’s a terrific opportunity for Northern Territory football to broadcast directly to the southern states,” Mr Bowden said.

“Its further confirmation that there is national interest in Territory football and that is something we want to see more of.”
