Manly hooker Gordon Chan Kum Tong has avoided disciplinary action over his confrontation with two Warriors fans last Friday night – but been hit with an official warning.

This masthead has been told Chan Kum Tong won’t be breached after grabbing two unruly Warriors fans at Go Media Stadium in Auckland.

Chan Kum Tong has been told that similar behaviour in the future could result in harsher punishment.

The NRL Integrity Unit investigated the drama after Chan Kum Tong fronted the fans who had been sledging Manly players throughout the day.

The two Warriors supporters allegedly said “f… you” to Manly players when asked to stop heckling Sea Eagles stars Jake Trbojevic and Tolu Koula.

Sea Eagles security Mick Malligan told Go Media Stadium authorities of the ongoing slurs but no action was taken.

Trbojevic was allegedly confronted while sin-binned.

Several Manly NSW Cup players told the pair to “show some respect” but the castigation continued with Koula, who was out injured, copping the brunt of the attacks.

That’s when the two fans allegedly said “f… you” and “f… off” to Manly’s NSW Cup players.

Chan Kum Tong had asked the pair to quieten down earlier in the game.

After further issues with the two fans, a clearly fed-up Chan Kum Tong grabbed one of the Warriors supporters by the jumper.

Chan Kum Tong has been reminded of his responsibilities as an NRL player.
