A clip of an adorable but terrifying young footballer dominating a Queensland junior rugby league game has gone viral.

An adorable but somewhat terrifying clip is doing the rounds of a young footballer dominating a Queensland junior rugby league game.

The clip posted by the child’s dad shows six-year-old player Fou, who towers above teammates and opposition defenders, scoring an effortless try.

Several defenders are shown bouncing off the boy as he throws several hand-offs on his full-field run toward the try line.

The boy’s father posted the clip to TikTok on Tuesday, making his son an instant viral hit.

“This is the kid most parents don’t want their son playing against. Instead of complaining about my son, give credit to yours for having a go,” he wrote.

In a follow-up post, seemingly in response to some criticism of the initial video, the father posted another.

He said it was Fou’s first year of footy, and his son had already been moved from under 6s to Under 7s.

“From playing tackle with his older brothers and cousins in the backyard at a younger age, contact sport is definitely for him,” Fou’s proud father wrote.

“I’m not trying to put any other kid (or) player down, but instead, I applaud their efforts on the field alongside and against my son.”

“Kids will be kids but I refuse to let any idiot talk down my son because of his age and size.

“If you don’t like the way my son plays footy, do something about it like educating our kids to tackle other than being a ‘expert’ on social media.

“We don’t tell the faster kids to slow down for the slower kids, so why tell the big kids to take it easy on the little kids?”

Plenty of commenters, however saw the lighter side of the clip, with some forecasting a future Kangaroo.

“Good on him … future NRL star in the making,” one wrote.

“Son’s a great player,” another told the father.

“He looked like he was gonna go for the ref for a second,” joked another.
