Waratah have suffered three agonisingly tight defeats against their finals bound foes since the Christmas break.

The NT News and KommunityTV will stream every moment of this clash from 7pm on Saturday.

The Tahs recent form has seen them drop from second place to fifth and while finals are still on the agenda, their chances of a double chance are slim.

They’ve been in the contest each match, leading Districts for the majority, but have fallen apart in the final 10 minutes.

Accuracy inside 50 was another issue, even in their win against Wanderers, and is an area they will want to clean up in order to push back into the upper echelon.

Though there are a couple of factors in their favour including some great midfielders in Tanner Lovell and Scott Carlin, who have had a great impact, and a run in including the bottom two.

Palmerston fell to bottom spot last week after their loss to the Darwin Buffaloes, but this is a young side in need of time to grow.

Nathaniel Lampton has impressed in recent weeks while the likes of Nayef Hamad and Tristen Waack were among the best on field last round.

For the Magpies it’s a case of needing time to put it all together and as with so many sides, now it’s not about finals but a strong finish to the season.
