After 18 rounds of the regular season and three weeks of finals we’re finally at the grand final where only one side can run out as the premiership victors.

First up is the women’s clash between the regular season premiers Nightcliff Tigers and a Darwin Buffettes side brimming with talent from 4pm.

This was the major semi-final matchup and on that occasion it was the Buffettes that ran out the winners but Tigers have found their way into the grand final the long way around.

Then from 6.30pm the big dance between Waratah and St Mary’s will kick off with everything on the line for both side.

Throughout the regular season it was the Saints that had the better of this match-up but when it came to the qualifying final it was Waratah who outmuscled their rivals to take the shortcut into the grand final.

Neither side will give an inch in what promises to be a titanic match-up.
