Footage has emerged of violent brawls outside Marvel Stadium after Sunday afternoon’s blockbuster fight between George Kambosos Jr. and Devin Haney.

Channel 7 shared shocking videos of angry fans throwing punches outside the Melbourne venue, with a large group of concerned spectators watching on.

In one of the clips, a man lay motionless on the pavement after being knocked down by a heavy blow.

“Those involved in that incident left the scene before police arrived and no victim has come forward at this time,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said, reports The Herald Sun.

“Unfortunately, there were a few disappointing incidents with police arresting an intoxicated male who was being evicted and found to be in possession of drugs.”

This disgusting behaviour has unfortunately become commonplace at Australian sporting events.

Over 50 fans were ejected from the MCG last month, with officers allegedly bitten and punched during an AFL game between Essendon and Richmond.

The opening night of the NRL’s highly-anticipated Magic Round was marred by an ugly brawl that erupted in the stands of Suncorp Stadium.

And back in April, a wild fight broke out at an NRL game in Brisbane after a fan appeared to yell during a moment of silence to remember the fallen on Anzac Day.

Earlier, Haney became the undisputed champion of the lightweight division after a 12-round war against Kambosos.

The 23-year-old nicknamed “The Dream” jabbed his way into the history books with a unanimous 116-112 x 2, 118-110 win, devastating a packed Marvel Stadium.

It’s the first time the lightweight division has been united in the four-belt era and Haney is the youngest of the eight champions in any division.

Kambosos busted his guts but was simply outclassed by a better fighter.
