AFL stars to play for free in Origin

AFL players have shown overwhelming support for State of Origin to return and those selected to represent Victoria and the All Stars will decline match payments for the bushfire relief game.

Former AFL star’s ‘frightening’ concussion finding

He was once one of the game’s great high-markers. Now Shaun Smith will never return to the workforce. The former Demon is believed to be the first player to have his super paid out early due to head injuries suffered during his career.
