Damien Hardwick has started a trend among AFL coaches by jumping on TikTok and the craze is growing. The latest leader to step up is Brett Ratten and the St Kilda boss has wasted no time throwing out the challenge to a rival.

Brett Ratten is the latest AFL coach to join the TikTok craze.

The St Kilda coach and his family released their debut performance on the fast-growing social media app on Monday night.

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick was the first to record a video with his daughter Imogen, which wasn’t met with a great review from captain Trent Cotchin.

Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin was the next senior coach to jump on board — and he appeared to take it a lot more seriously.

Starring alongside daughter Lily and son Eddie, the Goodwin clan danced to The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights.

Goodwin then challenged Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley, who didn’t take long to oblige.

Buckley’s might be the most popular yet, as he danced alongside his son Ayce to Benee’s song Glitter.

“Haha f---ing love that,” Brisbane’s Mitch Robinson tweeted in reply to the TikTok Buckley reposted on Twitter.

Essendon coach John Worsfold responded to Buckley’s challenge on Wednesday night, filming his dance video with daughter Grace — complete with ugg boots. His dog even makes a special appearance.

So who will be next on the hit list?

Ratten has challenged Carlton’s David Teague to take part. Will the new top Blue take up the offer?

TikTok is a popular social media platform that features short video clips usually recorded with music.
